Twirl’s SPECTACOLOR
for The Paseo 2024
An exploration of color through science, art and social-emotional learning.
Red, orange, fuchsia, blue… how do colors affect you? What’s your favorite color and how does it make you feel? How do colors interact with each other? What are the colors we can’t see?
Join Twirl for color blending and light-bending adventures as we delve into the full spectrum with SPECTACOLOR! Explore why and how we see colors and how to make… and change them. Create your own lens that celebrates your true colors! Bring the whole family and visit the vibrant coloration formation at the TCA during Paseo 2024.

The Paseo is an annual festival dedicated to bringing installation, projection, and performance art to the streets of Taos. https://paseoproject.org/
Every year, Twirl partners with The Paseo to provide a collaborative art installation and educational programs to engage some of our community's youngest members and their families in the festival. Twirl develops a concept and curriculum for in-school and family engagement events that infuse learning with play, art and movement and provides an opportunity for participants to contribute to the final installation.
In 2024, The Paseo will take place over 4 days (Oct. 3rd - 6th) in Kit Carson Park and the Taos Center for the Arts. Twirl’s installation and hands-on activities will be in the TCA at some specific times TBA. Stay tuned!
